8 of Cups – finished

cropping+8 8 of Cups finishedAfter the quilting was finished, I marked out the finished size: 24″ x 60″, sewed a tight straight stitch just inside the marked line, then trimmed it to size.

To finish the edge, I chose 3 different cords that picked up the colors in the quilt and used them to make a couched twisted cord binding.

I love it. I saw that someone else posted that it would be fabulous if someone could make actual cups for purchase from your design. Wouldn’t that be great? And there could be saucers, plates, etc. Beautiful piece!
