I posted this photo yesterday of a bamboo bike I saw in Davis and then this morning, what synchronicity, when I was reading the latest issue of Hand Eye magazine I see this article on bamboo bicycles! You can even take classes to build your own.

I don’t think I like the idea of all the bamboo items that are catching on. I think I read that there is a shortage of bamboo for Pandas in the wild. But I do have to admit I like the feel of bamboo yarn. I just refuse to buy it.
Bamboo grows like a weed so there shouldn’t be a problem getting bamboo however perhaps the problems is the bamboo forests where the panda’s live are disappearing.
Is that a 2 seater? Makes perfect sense you would see that in Davis! Justine
