I find my best work comes when I have uninterrupted time to delve deep into the process and explore ideas and techniques. Opportunities to focus on our art making can be so rare, but it’s incredibly important to make time for it in our over scheduled hectic lives.

I’d like to invite you to take the opportunity to immerse yourself in an environment that nurtures creativity and inspiration with a small group of like minded creative explorers

Judy, I am wondering what other preparations I should make for this workshop. I received the supply list, but am wondering if I should be thinking about what I wil be painting/planning images to bring etc. Can you give me some guidance about this?
        Thanks,
        Valerie

          Hi Valerie,

If you’d like to bring images for inspiration that would be great, but it’s not absolutely necessary. Basically you do not need to come with a planned out design or anything, but if there is a theme you would like to work with, bring images that might be good reference to support that.

Sadly, very sadly indeed, there is the small matter of the Atlantic Ocean, or I would be there. I know that you guys across the pond think nothing of travelling great distances for your art, but I think that’s a bit of an insurmountable problem. Those colours sing.
