Nina loves cranberries, she eats raw cranberries all the time, so she did a Google search for desert recipes with cranberries and found a recipe for cranberry pie!

She made it last night and it came out so good, nicely tart and such a pretty color. We were also thinking it would be really good to make a pie that combines apples and cranberries using this recipe.

Now I have Posole bubbling away in the slow cooker, perfect for a cold rainy day and to warm us up after I pick up my sister Deb at airport this evening. We have talked about having Thanksgiving together for years, so this year we are doing it.

My cousin used to make this for Thanksgiving every year. It is sooooo good! Thanks for reminding me of the recipe. I think I’ll make one.

  3. Well, yum! I have a bag of cranberries in the fridge that might have to turn into this.

  4. Cranberry Pudding is a Christmas Eve tradition at my house. I’ve blogged about it many times including

    and the actual recipe here

Say “hi” to Deb for me!

  5. I love anything cranberry -will have to try a pie.
Has she tried cranberry Frango mints? That was the one cranberry thing I DIDN’T like.

I just found this awesome raw recipe from nutritionals Rose Cole for an eggnog substitute. I can’t believe how good it is, and it’s sugar-free, dairy-free, and RAW! Just thought I would pass it on.

Yum! What time do you usually serve dessert? I can be there in 30 mins 🙂

    Enjoy Thanksgiving with your sister.
