Tin Quiltlets

I am having a lot of fun making these little painted quiltlets. Each of them are 4″ x 5″ with a painted top and an embossed metal piece machine stiched into place with beads to hold down the corners. I have three more that I will post after I sew the beads and hanging ribbons on.

  1. Judy, those are great! What a wonderful idea!!

Thanks for all of your ideas and help with the silk quilting. The Misty fuse finally arrived at my house on Saturday afternoon, but alas we were leaving town on Sunday morning and had dinner out with friends on Saturday night, so I probably won’t get to try it until tomorrow. Boo! I have used both the new Organ needles and the Superior threads…both have worked beautifully. Thanks again for your help!!
