My next teaching trip came up fast on the heels of Folsom, and I drove to the the Bay area to Diablo Valley to teach Tea and Ephemera.
This class is an introduction to a variety of mixed-media techniques that can all be applied to fabric, that initially grew out of my experimenting with drawing and painting on tea bags and applying them to fabric. 
In this class students learn to see the potential of incorporating visual elements into their work from sources that are routinely overlooked and regularly discarded in order to create interesting visual texture and backgrounds.
