I was so lucky to have a great view of this exhibit from my booth at the Townsville Stitches and Craft Show and then to meet several of the artists while on my trip in Brisbane. It was really a fantastic exhibit, here are a few of the wonderful quilts that were on view.

I loved the strong emphasis on natural elements that are intrinsic to the Australian landscape and cultural history in the work, from Eucalyptus leaves to the act of mark making in a variety of ways. Truly inspirational.
