Tea and Ephemera in Grass Valley

pinesI taught a Tea and Ephemera workshop in in beautiful Grass Valley the second week of June.

Grass Valley is a little over an hour drive east of Sacramento up to the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Grass Valley is an old gold mining town established in the 1800’s with a lot of historic charm and now is the home of many crafts people. My boyfriend Phil lived there for several years and loves it there aside from one or two short day trips in the past it’s still new territory for me.

I had a great time with this wonderful creative group of women.

  1. Your students all do such lovely work! But of course, as they’re quite talented and too, they have such a talented and artistically-inspired instructor! Always fun to see what your efforts bring, Judy!

  2. Hi Judy,
What fun to see our town, our guild (Pine Tree Quilt Guild), and some of your “groupies” in print. We loved having you and I know that several of us are already looking in to going to Craft Napa and taking another class from you.

You packed in so much for our “Tea And Ephemera” play day. Loved every moment. Take care now. Hugs, Heidi Emmett
